What is a DIY dish?
Playfully prepare dishes chosen in advance or at the venue from our menu. Every premium-quality ingredient is prepared for you on a wooden board. Our video app guides you through the instructions, enabling everyone to create their own fine-dining-style dish—even if they do not necessarily know how to cook. Success and a playful, creative social experience are guaranteed at any age.

Success is guaranteed: Makery turns everyone into a star chef. What Makery offers is far more than food. It is a unique, active social event built around the joy of cooking together. Our varied and inspiring menu also features creations by well-known culinary personalities and chefs, so everyone can choose to their taste. THE VENUE
Depending on the package, Makery gift experiences can be enjoyed in the restaurant or at home. Each contains everything needed for carefree cooking, prepared to suit the chosen setting. Makery is the world’s first DIY restaurant, located in the heart of Budapest at 38 Dob Street. We pioneered the social experience of cooking together—whether guests visit us or order the Makery experience to their home. Our restaurant is equipped with modern kitchen technology, including induction hobs built into the tables. The interior is exciting and welcoming while reflecting contemporary design, creating the perfect setting for a truly special occasion.
PURCHASING
We send the multi-purpose gift voucher purchased online by card via email. Its face value is the amount actually paid, and the recommended experience can be changed when booking. The voucher can be used once, cannot be exchanged for cash, is transferable and is valid for 180 days. You may pay any difference; unused value is forfeited.
